BE PART OF THE NPOWER
BIG DRIBBLE

It couldn't be easier to be part of The npower Big Dribble. You don't need any equipment or any previous experience of hockey. Whether you're four years old or 104, simply turn up and give it a go by dribbling a hockey ball (not the giant one!) around a specially-designed, 100 metre course.

Don't worry if you've never picked up a hockey stick before, it's all part of the fun. Our team of dedicated Hockey Makers will be on hand to help. Your 100m dribble will be added to our nationwide totaliser and, when we reach 2012km, we've set the record! You'll receive a certificate for taking part and your photo will appear in The npower Big Dribble gallery for you to share with friends and family.

Once you've dribbled your 100m we want you to sign our giant hockey ball with your message of support for the Great Britain hockey teams competing in this summer's Olympic Games. With 40 venues hosting The npower Big Dribble nationwide there's one near you.

Do your own Little Dribble

For those who cannot make it to one of our venues, you can also join the fun by doing your own Little Dribble with friends, teammates, classmates or colleagues. Just grab a hockey stick and ball, set your course and get dribbling for charity. You could dribble around your office, your street, the school playground or wherever your Little Dribble takes you. The wackier the better!

We want to hear about your Little Dribble events. Why not take photos or film your Little Dribble and send it to us at bigdribble@gbhockey.co.uk. We'll upload the best to Facebook and YouTube for the Hockey Nation to see. There'll be prizes for the most popular so get dribbling.

Great Britain men's hockey team Head Coach Jason Lee and Manager Andy Halliday are doing their own Little Dribble for WellChild, the official charity partner of The npower Big Dribble...dribbling all 42.195km of the London Marathon. What will you do?

Fundraise for WellChild

WellChild is the official charity partner of Great Britain Hockey and The npower Big Dribble. It is the UK's national charity for sick children, helping children, and their families, who are seriously ill or who have complex health conditions through their programmes of Care, Support and Research.

WellChild nurses work to ensure that children with serious illness and complex conditions can leave hospital and be cared for at home while their Helping Hands scheme provides practical support to families by tackling one-off home improvement projects in the homes of sick children.

£10 pays for 30 minutes of nursing care for a seriously ill child.

For some great ideas of how to fundraise, download our dedicated Schools Fundraising Pack here.

We are hoping to raise £20,012 for WellChild through donations as The npower Big Dribble roles around the nation.

To donate text BIGD12 (followed by £3, £5 or £10) to 70070 or visit www.wellchild.org.uk.
